Collaborate on Projects with Your Team

Working alone is fine, but working together is where things get done faster. Tasks now makes it simple to invite your team to any project and collaborate in real time.

Two ways to invite​

You can invite people by email or with a public link. Email invites are perfect when you know exactly who needs access. Public links are great for sharing with a larger group - just set a maximum click limit and an expiry date to keep things under control.

Three roles, clear boundaries​

Every collaborator gets a role:

  • Owner - the person who created the project. There is only one.
  • Admin - can invite and remove people, just like the Owner.
  • Editor - can create and edit tasks, but cannot manage members.

This keeps things clean. Everyone knows what they can and cannot do.

Easy member management​

Need to remove someone? Long press the project, tap Invite People, find the person, and tap Remove from Project. Their tasks become unassigned but stay in the project.
