Organize Your Sidebar with Filters, Smart Lists, and Folders
Your sidebar is your command center. It is where you see what needs to happen across all your projects without jumping between them one by one. Here is how to make it work for you.
Filters - your quick views
Filters sit at the top of your sidebar and give you instant access to the tasks that matter right now. All shows everything. Late catches anything overdue. Today keeps you focused. Scheduled shows what is coming up.
You can also customize which filters are visible by tapping the + icon on the home screen.
Smart Lists - your custom views
Smart Lists are where things get powerful. They are dynamic filters you define yourself. Want to see all high priority tasks assigned to you across every project? That is a Smart List. Want to see every Blog task due this week? Also a Smart List.
Tap the + icon, select Smart List, give it a name, set your conditions, and it lives in your sidebar - always up to date.
Folders - keep it tidy
As your workspace grows, folders keep the sidebar clean. Group related projects and Smart Lists together. You can even nest folders within folders.
A popular trick is to create an Archived folder at the bottom and move old projects into it - keeps things clean without deleting anything.
